I'm in the mood for Christmas...

but before I post any photos I'll tell you something about myself.

My name is Maggie and I'm from Ipswich. I'm 31 years old and I'm a manic stamper. I've been crafting for the past 3 years, but I became seriously interested in making cards after an accident that happened last year. I was house bound for a while and off from work for months. I discovered that making cards is something that I love and it kept me sane. :)

I've decided to start my blog some time ago to share what I've made with other people. I've been visiting other blogs but never felt brave enough to post any comments. Cards made by others always seem much more beautiful than mine. It was all rather weird as in real life I had got a job which required a lot of self confidence and there was no place for being shy. Maybe the fact that I was dismissed from my post changed everything? Don't know... I certainly feel that part of me died when I heard 'Dismissed on the grounds of medical inefficiency'. What brought me so close to crafting and discovering my inner-self also 'killed' my career.

I know it all seems very sad but inside I know that this was meant to be. I've fallen in love, again, I love each and every minute I spend at my desk. :))

Oh and as the title says... I'm in the mood for Christmas...

P.S.
I've recently discovered clay. It's versatile, air dries and is easy to work with.

I've made some gift boxes to go with Christmas tree decorations.

The one above is, believe it or not, purple version. The one below a green one.
