WOYWW! :)

Hi everyone!

It's Wednesday again. :)

I've finally started my new job and it's great. Lovely people and fab atmosphere. :)

Below some photos of my desk today...

My Purple Cows trimmer. So far the best one I have ever had.

My bed has become my desk extension, again!

Another bargain for you...

If you use charms or would like to start using them in your projects pop over to Primark and get yourself a chain with all the charms attached to it and then disassemble. You can get it in jewellery section and it costs £3. You get loads of charms + jump rings + chain. You don't need anything else to get you started. :)

Below are all different charms you get.

I have won candy at What Shall I Make Today and it arrived today! Love it!:)

P.S.

Not allowed a guillotene - OH thinks I will chop my fingers off. Love the mix of card bits on your desk and must remember to check out Primark next time I see one.
No WOYWW for me this week - ES has my camera.

Hi Maggie, I love my Purple Cow guillotine and thinking of getting a trimmer too so it helps to here you like it. I've two others and have given up with them in exasperation! Great find this week - all those charms, etc., for a mere £3 - what a bargain :) Thanks, Elizabeth x #74

Wow thanks for the tip £3! that's incredible. Only problem is that they tarnish very quicly don't they - maybe that would add to a vintage effect? I had heard to stop silver from tarnishing you should rub baby oil on them - obviously I know they're not real silver but I wonder if putting a clear varnish on them or glossy accents may stop them tarnishing. Sorry I'm probably doing the grandmother sucking eggs trick - just an idea/ !
Thanks again for the tip! Gotta get to Primark!!
Happy WOYWW

Evenyour overflow space is overflowing tidily! Strange isn't it that we call them trimmers, kinda suggests something other than the mammoth and weighty tools they actually are!

Thanks for the tip on primark charms. I met a lady today in the super market sporting a lovely knitted head band and when I complimented her on it was told it was from Primark for £1.50 Gotta get down there pronto to snap these bargains up. Hugs Mrs A. #57

I've never seen a Purple Cow trimmer, I had no idea it also had a guillotine. Thanks for the tip on buying charms, I've always just purchased them individually.
Have a great week ~ Jovi #141

Very busy work space(s)! I take over the space bedrooms bed when need be. Didn't God intend it for that? Love the necklace. Unfortunately we don't have that store over here. I am going to look around a couple other places and see what I can find. Thanks for sharing! Vickie #52

Sounds like those Primark charms are going to disappear off the shelves. I'm always on the lookout for necklaces or bracelets to take apart !

From one Maggie to another, thank you for your visit to me yesterday and your kind comment. I also have to say thank you for your tip about Primark. I must say, I had never thought of searching through places like that and dismantling jewellry for crafting. I shall never look at bracelets and necklaces again with the same eye.

Lots of fun pretties on your desk today - and that is one serious trimmer. Thanks for dropping by my studio.

Love your trimmer, might have to invest, also thanks for the tip about Primark, although I would have to get a family member to buy it and bring it to me, no Primarks in the States!
