Oh Maggie, this is one great idea! I assume this tin is recycled, and you have made a perfect Scissors Holder out of it. With beautiful decoration and details this will cheer you up every time you look at it.

Twine/yarn is smoothing this nicely. I love distressed edges and your distressing altogether. Did you emboss the scalloped oval shape and then distressed it? Florals (I thought they were buttons) are cute. Notice the thin shiny twine around the oval, icing on the cake :)

I just love when people recycle and make something as beautiful as you have done. My daughter today did just the same thing, just with decoupaged images of fairies :)
