Two photos of my desk... I'm learning sewing with a sewing machine bought from Works for a fiver. :) You can see it on the right hand side of my desk.

And another bargain... Loads of paper flowers from Works. I bought them for my lazy days ;) when I fancy a quick card with a dimensional flower.

This week I'd like to share another bargain. I've found a lovely bracelet in Clair's just for one pound. Once you take it apart you get a chain and all of these tiny key charms! I just love it!

On my desk today... went to second hand book shop in Felixstowe and had to have it! It's a 'Small Frames and borders Ready to Use' book full of one side printed sheets with different label designs. It's one of those things where I don't know why I want it but I do!:)

My experiments with Crackle Glaze. By the way... HUGE bottle of Crackle Glaze in HomeBase for a bit more than £7 so if you use a lot of it pop over and check it out.

It's Wednesday again. :)

I've finally started my new job and it's great. Lovely people and fab atmosphere. :)

Another bargain for you...

If you use charms or would like to start using them in your projects pop over to Primark and get yourself a chain with all the charms attached to it and then disassemble. You can get it in jewellery section and it costs £3. You get loads of charms + jump rings + chain. You don't need anything else to get you started. :)

Hi everyone!

On my desk today...

bought some scrap pieces of lace for 75p in a craft shop in Ipswich. Scrap pieces measuring 3 meters each! :)

Envelope maker proved to be one of those things where you think 

'How did I cope without it???'

Another bargain from Poundland...

From this...

...to this. 

Ink them and squeeze them to make the petals a bit more compact.

Use one of these punches to make leaves and done! :)

Cheap but beautiful. :)

Hi everyone!

First another bargain and a reminder about flower tutorial. 

I've found these pearls in Primark. They cost £1 and you get loads of them. 

You can use them to embellish this beauty... 

 

I spent one evening watching telly and making roses so now have loads of them in different colours. They are made with textured card and sprayed with home made glimmer mists. How to make glimmer mist at home click here. 

Stick the pearls with glitter glue to add even more sparkle.

A tutorial for this rose is here. You can use Craft Stamper free stamp from March issue. It's just perfect for this technique.

In my craft room today... I moved furniture around, again. :) Now all my papers and card are in one place.

I have my favourite background and flower stamps, plus some other bits and pieces that I use on regular basis, handy on the desk in a basket. :)

Make yourself some glimmer mist using metallic paint (I've used acrylic metallic paints). You can make lots of different glimmer mists using 

metallic paint + water + ink pad reinkers + spray bottles.

Avon bottle work great as it sprays very fine mist.

Another trick... 

Need a picking tool to pick gems or beads? Use a tool with a pointy end and put some blue/white tack on the tip. :)
