WOYWW with Julia...

Welcome to my blog. Today in my crafty room and on my desk...

I got this carousel in a charity shop for 99p and altered it so that I could use it with ink pads. It saves a lot of space!

The boxes with numbers are actually storage for mulbery paper flowers and roses. The numbers are the sizes of all the flowers I have. I use loads of them on my cards, frames and on exploding boxes.

If you're not familiar with what an exploding box is, visit my Etsy shop to have a look. One is here, and here, and here

I've spread all over the double bed as the desk is too small. This is a guest bedroom so don't have to clear the bed very often.

Loads of stuff waiting to be put away in storage boxes.

I went to Bury St.Edmunds for a Papercraft Show with my crafty friend Kim and I spent loads of money on cutting dies, white 280gsm A4 card and stamps (photo below).

My embossing folder storage. I can see what designs I have at a glance.

And... something different. I picked up my 4 week supply of painkillers from my local pharmacy today. I poison myself with all this only to take the edge off my pain. It doesn't really help any more but have no choice if I want to function at all. If you want to know why, click here.

Thank you for reading and happy WOYWW! :)

Scary...

Did you know that vets receive much more training on chronic pain than GPs?

Scary isn't it?

No wonder some GPs still think that chronic pain is only 'in the head' and prescribe anti-depressants to patients who actually need painkillers!

P.S.
Kim, my crafty friend, is taking me to Bury St.Edmunds on Sunday for a Craft Fair. Not a fair where you buy handmade items, a fair where you buy supplies. Thank goodness for an early pay day in April... :)

Pop in and have a look...
